Price has dropped at Amazon from £329.99 to £259.99 today.
looks like a bargain and as the map update is mostly solved this looks like a reasonable deal. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------

It is also devoid of the RDS-TMC receiver, the Bluetooth remote control and the inbuilt positioning "gyro" for use in tunnels/ poor GPS reception areas - so there is more missing than just the North American Map - Mike |

It depends how much you need/want those few things! The difference in the price of the 930T and the 730T on the TomTom website is £70.
By the way, Mike, it is the 730T that Amazon's offering for £259.99. _________________ Anita

If you don't need the USA mapping there is little point, the other models in the range will perform just as well, and lets face it the "gyro" isn't that much use in the UK as there are very few tunnels, even fewer with junctions within them.
The remote is handy but it can be purchased separately should you want one, the RDS-TMC is handy when it works (which it still doesn't within the UK for time delay related information, the clock is still ticking on this problem) - Mike |

OOP's I thought someone was comparing the 730 and 930 devices - in which case disregard what I have said above - the 730 is a great device and £259:99 is a cheap price at the time of typing this (in a few weeks/ months it might be a different case) - Mike |
