I have a problem using Mapsource. If I make a route and download it to my Colorado all the waypoints etc work fine, but the route simply becomes a series of straight lines between waypoints. If I make a route on the Colorado and reverse the process, the route appears as a series of straight lines on the PC. Curiously this happens when the routing is set to automotive or to cycling on roads.
Any ideas? |

What mapping software?
Is the mapping software unlocked?
Did you transfer data for autorouting?
Is the Unit set for pedestrian?
Am I a pain asking all the questions???? |

Not a pain at all! I'm only too grateful.
1. Mapping software Mapsource/City Navigator 2008 NT (although the same prob arises with my Mac and the equivalent called "Bobcat").
2 Fully unlocked putting the map onto an SD card works fine
3. Unit set for automobile in this case but the same thing happens in cycling (set for the road).

On mapsource on the PC - as you select the maptiles - bottom left of screen - there should be this option:-
Include route calculation data
did you select it? |

Hi Sorry for the delay. I have been busy this week. Anyway my Colorado 330 won't boot anymore, nor will it hard reset. Tried all the tricks on the Garmin Colorado Wiki but the computer no longer recognises it as a USB device!. I'll be phoning Garmin in the morning....... |
