You need to set up an account with Tomtom, registering the device and then you need to purchase a subscription to their database.

Of course, there is a far superior (not that I'm biased, of course) database on this site.

Have you looked on the device using Home or Windows Explorer to see if you have the camera files in your current map directory?

Ignoring for a moment HOW you may have lost your pre-existing camera files, for simplicity and so we can all see what is going on, you need to look at your One's storage with Windows Explorer.
Connect the TT to the PC, and if Home starts up...shut it down.
Then open Windows Explorer and you should find the One as a new disk drive (complete with a drive letter, just like your PC's hard drive).

Browse the One's storage and you should see a folder named after whatever map you own (Western Europe, UK and Ireland etc.)
If you open that folder, you may or may not find a load of files with names beginning "Safety_Cam _UK_TomTom..."

If you have them, you can easily get your (out of date) camera database up and running again.
If not, you will be able to re-install the files IF you have a good backup.

If you don't have a good backup, you need to make one as a matter of urgency, in case you lose any more vital files. Instructions on making backups are in the FAQs in the TomTom section of this forum... do not use "Home" to do this.

As you may know, there is a demo version of TomTom's own speed camera database supplied pre-installed on most new machines, and you usually have ONE free update. After that you are expected to buy a subscription to keep it updated, so if you don't have a backup of the files you won't be able to get them from TomTom without paying.

As indicated by others, most people here consider the TomTom offering to be pretty poor anyway and would rather pay for the one from this site.
