Hi,

Could somebody tell me how to configure the RFG-1000 (Onyx) GPS Mouse for TomTom...???

I have installed the Trimble Driver, and it has installed the mouse on a "virtual" Com6...

This works,

But how do i get TomTom to see the GPS mouse, i have no option there for the RFG nor Com6, just Serial Com1, com3, GPS Port and APP Port...

Or do i need to select nmea or sirf orso???

Thank you for your help!!!!

I can't remember which driver I used, but if you set TomTom to NMEA 0183v2 4800 and check the second box and see what you have available. There should be an entry there you can use. I don't think it will be APP Port, or GPS Port but it might be the latter.

Let me know what you see in this bottom box.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the quick response...

You are correct NMEA 0183v2, 4800, the correct port is GPS

The trick for me was that i should use the GPS driver included with my PDA (Yakumo Delta), it installs with destinator. After that Tomtom runs just fine...

I couldn't however use the driver found on the website of Royaltek,
i guess Yakumo has modified the driver!

Works great now, thank you!
