when i shut my 920 down i get the same splash screen on start up as shut down any advice |

you can change the strartup screen by adding photo's to your photo's folder in tom-tom then go to preferences page 6 go into start up pref press done then change the image then press yes
as for the shut-down i am not so sure of i just changed it within tom-tom home by selecting a shut-down pic from there selection _________________ TomTom 5001 |

There are three files the device will use to display information, all of these are contained in the root directory of the device:
antitheftw.bmp (which is the suspend screen image)
lowbatteryw.bmp (this is the image displayed prior to power out - Off)
splashw.bmp (which is the start up image)
In order to display the antitheftw.bmp you have to go to Change preferences/ Safety Preferences and check the "Warn not to leave the device in the car" checkbox - once enabled the device will use the antitheftw.bmp file as the display when it shuts down - Mike |

... and obviously you can change any of those .bmps to one of your own pictures, SO LONG AS you make your picture the same size and shape as the original and save it in .bmp format with one of the names Oldboy gives above. |
