|
|
Hi,
I have a TomTom 700 (v 7.162 Software and Map V 568.0) and wonder if there is a legal source of Updated 7 digit Great Britain Postal Codes available to dowload from anywhere?
If not, can these be bought from Tom Tom without buying a complete new map?
Thanks in advance,
Pinkpanther |

Hi Oldboy,
Thanks for your swift response, but I regret I don't understand the reply. I'm not familiar with the acronym PM. Could you explain please?
My Thanks,

PM = Private Message. Look above this thread for a line that'll say
Quote: | Forum FAQ Search Usergroups Profile No new messages Log out |
except your "No new messages" will say "You have 1 new message" click it to get into your mailbox. |

There is a new "easier to access" download available from TomTom...
http://tomtom.com/updates/zipcodes/map7/wezipcodes715.zip
This gives v701 UK and v710 NL postcode files AND the useful 2ver files" so you can TELL what versions they are. |

Yes they will work with your map, I would open the zip folder on your device and find the Great_BritainPostal.ver file, right click it and select Open With/ Note Pad, this will display the postcode version you have, if it is the same or higher than the version Andy mentioned above leave it all alone - Mike |
