I periodically check MyGarmin and tonight it showed up City Navigator 10 NT as available. The price was $129 so I changed the locale to UK and got nothing. 20 mins later, I tried again and it shows them as available in the UK but how to order just takes you to the main page.
Looks incomplete just now so hopefully I can order them over the next day or so. I'm not sure if the $129 amount took account of the unlock code as this equates to around £60 and people seemed to think the upgrade would be around £30-40 from other posts.

If you look closely there is some red writing at the top that states...

When i go to the Updates page and enter my serial number it tells there are no updates yet. This is because the updates are not available yet. |

I have just gone on and ordered the updates for City Navigator NT 2008 for my Nuvi 310. It is only UK and Ireland but last time (for my streetpilot) a DVD was sent for the whole of europe which for the cost of £40 an unlock code was available for the whole database of europe. Maybe this will be the case again?
States 4-6 weeks for delivery. |

Do you mean will it unlock the whole of Europe? If so then yes.

What page did you use to order the update? Every time i try to order an update it states

| I stick by what I said. there is no writing in red or otherwise and the map update screen takes me to the same screen as before and where to buy takes me to the site main screen. If I change Locale to US it allows me to add to basket but not in the UK. |

Well, I've just gone and ordered the free map update for the Nuvi 250 I bought from Amazon a couple of weeks ago so I'm happy.

I went to MyGarmin, logged in, clicked on Map Updates in the my Registered Products box.
This then displays a screen telling me Map Update 2008 City Navigator® Europe NT is available. This is a hot link, clicking on it takes me to a page where I can purchase it online for $129.99

And if you click on the link to visit the map updates page, then what? I put in my serial number and was told the update was for me.

It appears you have to order from the US, although one of the "help" type links tells you they only ship to the US, UK and one other place.
Whether it comes from the US or they get the UK branch to ship it I have no idea. If they ship from the US I wonder if you would be hit for customs duty, VAT and other spurious charges

Honestly, i've been trying all day. Entering my serial number still says "No update avalible".
I just tried My Garmin for the 5 or 6th time today and finally it says

Look at the dates.
So is the new version "v9 2008" and the last one was "v9 09.00" ?? I though the new one was v10 (2008)?
I was beginning to think this was a wind up!! 
However when i try to order the DVD i get
