TTN6 Locations Datbase...

Whenever I start to type in a location I get the first few letter bringing up locations from all over Europe. That's annoying as I only have & need the UK mapping.

Is there a way to only use UK mapping locations in the search?

Presumably you are using a Europe Map, and TTN6 , or earlier. You say that you only have UK Mapping which is confusing because that would be the only source of location names.

You're 100% certain you have UK only mapping?

The only way is if you have a UK only Map, or hope that TT bring out a newer version that works as Version 7 does for the PNDs. In this you select the Country that you want to use.

Not much help I'm afraid.

I've just checked the box, it's a TTN6 GB. But looking at the relevant folder on the card it's 'GB_plus_major_roads_of_WE', so obviously the towns on the major routes in Western Europe will be there.

I've been using it for nearly 2 years and thought it was a GB only version. Doh

It's still annoying though.

I think you need to update, maps v660 and v675 are both named Uk & IE, Although they still have major roads of Western Europe I cannot recollect them bringing up foriegn town names or I may have not noticed because I usually pump in 3-4 letters quickly.
