Hi
Have TTN 2 and have installed the software - the GPS works ok and communicates with upto five satellites at a time. The problem is that the navigator is unable to display my location - I have driven the car to different locations - still the same problem it does not seem to be able to pinpoint my location.
All I get is a compass and no map displayed. Pls help.
Thanks.

Are you sure you installed a map ? Can you see a map in the map screen, and can you zoom in and out and move it around ? |

I copied all the maps (GB) to my SD Card - basically I copied them to a folder first and then sync with my Dell PDA and then copied it across. Before I installed the map I installed the TTN2 navigator, english voice and the TTN GPS.
When I click to MAP view I do initially get a map but when I zoom in and out the map eventually disappears and I have nothing but a blank canvas with a pointer on the screen. Also the strange thing is that when I program in a route and go to demonstrate the route it does that with the maps - I am really confused !!!
In relation to the Navigator view I just get a blank compass and the message current location: ?
Pls advise...the GPS position is stated as reliable and also TTN2 is able to correctly report my geographical location (via the compass) and also my speed in MPH.
Pls advise.
Thanks
Ricko

Try moving the scroll bar on the side of the screen - either that or swap screens then come back (switch to directions then back for example).
I get this on my 2210 - i just think it needs the data refreshing or something.

If you are viewing the map in 'Map View' have you ensured that 'Keep GPS Position on screen' is checked? If you switch to 'Navigator' view do you see your position on the map then? _________________ Darren Griffin |
