|
|
Can someone tell me what the latest firmware for the Nuvi 250 is? Looking at Garmin's web site they bizarrely don't seem to list Nuvi 200 or 250 firmware downloads as separate downloads - looks like you have no choice but to use Garmin's autoupdate software.
+ one more question. I bought my Nuvi 250 a month ago and when I use autoupdate it does not detect any updates. It detects the unit as 'drive D' and does not list it as "Nuvi 250" or "Nuvi" - is this correct? |

Lots of views but no replies. Are there no Nuvi 200 or 250 owners that could help out with this question? |

If you use WebUpdater it'll tell you what the latest Firmware is!

Does it tell you there are no updates available?

Can you view the contents of the Nuvi? If so, then it sounds correct. |

webupdater tells me there are no updates available, that's right. I just wondered if it was working correctly, because I wasn't sure if it was correctly identifying my unit as a Nuvi 250 since it just identified it as "Nuvi drive D".
I can view the contents of the Nuvi and copy them in order to back them up, yes. Incidentally, which file(s) contains my saved favourites, as every time I do a hard reset of the device these disappear?
