TT One V2 - Buying New maps

I'm planning on buying the latest maps for my TomTom One V2. Does anybody know if TomTom are planning on releasing a new map soon or am I safe to buy the current one on the website?

As the x30 models have just been released, complete with v8 maps... then a release of v8 maps for the rest of us MUST be around the corner.
But how far round the corner, only TT know, and they aren't telling.

My guess is it will be 2-3 months. Anyone think that's a reasonable guess going by previous releases?
