|
|
Hi all,
1st post so be gental with me. I have just bought a Tomtom Go 720. I have setup in the itinerary two places to visit tomorrow.
The last place I have to visit is at 4pm, is there anyway the itinerary planner can tell me the total distance and time for the entire journey, so I can work out what time I have to leave the house?
Many thanks

Hi matty_doodle
When you have finished setting up the Itinerary it asks you if you want to drive that route now. If you answer ‘Yes’ it shows you the distance and time the journey will take. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Look at the itinerary list. Tap on the first place. Then on the screen that appears choose "Mark as Waypoint". Leave the final destination as a "Destination". Then run the itinerary. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Hi matty_doodle
Yes, you must do as 'should' as already pointed out. Your first destination must be a Waypoint. Once you have mastered Itineraries you will be amazed how useful they are. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Will give that a try and come back to you, but sounds like it will sort me out!

Hi matty_doodle
After you have it all sussed out you will then be able to progress up the ladder and plan your Itineraries with Google Maps on your PC. You will then be able to add as many Waypoints as you wish and go the way you want to go instead of the way Tomtom sometimes insists you go. It’s a piece of cake when done on the PC screen.
Good Luck. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Hi Mick002
I have been using Tyre with Google Maps for the last few months and yes, its brilliant. Its so simple planning on the big screen and you can send your itinerary to your Tomtom without even running Tomtom Home.
I planned one certain Itinerary crossing France on Tyre/Google Maps that was quite extraordinary. And it worked perfectly.
Tyre/ Google Maps adds a new dimension to Tomtom. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.
