tomtom go 720 latest map guarantee

I bought a go 720 a week ago which came with a 30 day latest map guarantee i've checked and its already got the most up to date map. If i don't connect the tom tom to the computer for six months or so will i be able to download the latest map therefore getting a free upgrade.

Probably not as TomTom often request a copy of the till receipt before adding the map to your account to prevent this sort of thing. You should have v715 maps on the device, if not take it up with customer support on 0845 161 0009 - Mike
