Help with POI bitmaps

Pick your brains guys, what is the max size for a poi bitmap on a TT 720, some say 22x22 as i was also told 24x24 can also be used?

I have also been informed that a image double this size can also be used for the flashing image in the top left, if this is the case what do i call the bitmap (filename ect) and does it still go in the map folder?
