I've just taken delivery of my 720...so pleased!
Try as I might, I cannot set up an audible warning for the speed cameras that appear, is it possible to do this?
I want a warning for cameras, but I don't want a voice reading out my text messages automatically...is this possible?
I have searched the forum but cannot find a simple answer to this, apologies if I have missed it.

Change preferences
Manage POIs
Warn when near POI
Select which POI ( Camera ) you want
Say no to remove warning
Select distance
Select how you want the TT to warn you
Done

When the device asks this question select "Sound Effect" then choose the sound you want from the options provided and set the warn only if POI on route as per your choice. Remember if you do select this check box you have to have a route planned on the device to receive a warning, if you drive about without a route planned leave the box unchecked to receive warning irrespective of route planned or not - Mike |

One small issue, when going into 'warn when near POI' I do not have any cameras listed? |

Are you using the TT Camera Database, by any chance?

Yes I guess I am, it just the 720 out of the box with the updates installed. I'm thinking I'm asking a silly question now! Apologies, I'm new to all this.

You set up the TT cameras within TomTom PLUS services on Page 3 of the Main Menu.
