help, i have downloaded the consolidated camera database for eorope and the uk and unzipped those on my desktop, i have downloaded the poi loader and loaded the points in to mapsource but there is nothing in there, where should they be????
the old system is in the products section with the maps.

You load them to the unit not into MapSource.
They will then appear under
Where To?

you are spot on, they are where you said they are, i have put both the consolidated poi's and the other set too, will this cause a problem? thanks for the help.

You really only want one set on there. Not sure what effect more than one type would have really. Persoanlly i prefer Consolidated. |

i loaded the first set by accident, did'nt know if it had worked until after i loaded the second set! can i delete the first set? |

When you use POILoader it wipes out all existing POIs before loading the new ones. Therefore if you loaded the two databases in two different loads, only the latter database will be on there.
When you start adding other POIs for Fuel and Shops you'll need to mix them in with the Speed Cameras in one folder. Then if one POI file is updated you need to upload them all again.
Best to make a dedicated folder on your PC for keeping your POI Library in. |

thanks, just figured that out by reloading uk maps in there, how do i consolidate the uk and euro maps, do i just put all the contents of both folders into one? |
