Just so you guys know....NB and his cohorts have started attempting to flog their latest "product" and flame wars have erupted on most of the car/jammer forums over it (and them). If you've got an old def 2 in the cupboard, there seems to be a promise of a free upgrade to their new effort. Personally, I wouldn't hold my breath. Apart from that it's the usual "we're great and everyone else is rubbish" BS they spouted the last time. However, a bag of popcorn and some screen time will give you access to one of the best slanging matches I've seen in ages. |

Come on 'nomandros' don't keep us in suspense. Give us a link or site to go to so we can get in on the action I'm sure 'GJF' will have a few words to add to any discussion of the def2 etc. |

Dont usually post on this forum but we do monitor traffic here, mostly for legal reasons.
Neil Brown has no connection whatsoever with DS anymore since 2006. He has no rights to any of the DS products and owns no intellectual property.
Neil Brown has no capability to update the firmware for the DS or DF2, he has no source code, no designs, nothing. What he is telling people is pure fantasy.
It is unknown yet whether an update will be made for DF2, first things are to update the DS with the latest generation of OS, database protocols and webservices.
If Neil Brown produces any DS product, copies, modifies or uses any intellectual property owned by the developers he will almost certainly find legal action in the works.
The LaserStar is not a DS product. It has nothing whatsoever to do with DS, it is his own product.
If you see anymore "Brown" posts, by all means pass them on to technical@drivesmartsupport.com so we can give them to our solicitors. |
