|
|
hi,
I have been reading the excellent review on ver7 and am particularly interested in the comment -
''There is little scope for customization, the warnings displays and alert sounds are not configurable for example but the alert system as supplied is acceptable''
I use the zoned database with my TT6 and have all the ogg files loaded to give me audible alerts for each speed cam.
am I to understand that Copilot would not give me this facility ?
regards,

As far as I am aware, with CP7 you cannot change the icons. Not having used CP6 I wasn't aware that you could use the .ogg files but I'm happy to test this and reply.
Where are the .ogg files located on CP6? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Darren,
hope I have not misled you here ...
I am not using Copilot 6, but TomTom Navigator 6 on my PDA, and have all the ogg, bmp & ov2 files for each zone matched up fine.
from the review I led myself to believe that perhaps this could not be done with Copilot 7
regards,

Ah I see! In which case as far as I am aware, the customisation options available to TomTom users in this area are not available with CoPilot7. _________________ Darren Griffin |
