Old tt one v1 home v2 not connecting

my daughter just got her granddads old tomtom one (never been updated) I have down loaded home v2 but it will not connect to tt one! Tt one shows up in windows explorer and i can browse the files...

Any idea how to get it to update?

Have a read through This Thread as what you describe is a (little) known fault that only seems to hinder the early TT One devices (read my post in the linked thread for the answer to your problem) - Mike

There is an update to V6.560 for the ONE on my Updates Page.

This doesn't required the use of HOME, just a File Copy with Explorer, and then it should be accessible to HOME.
