selecting map on tomtom go 920

Hello there
I just bought a Tomtom 920 with US maps as I am taking it on holiday next week. When I turned the machine on, it asked me which region I wanted to load, so I selected europe. It works fine, but I want to now look at the US maps but cannot find how to return to the selection screen for mapping. Will it automatically switch to US mapping when we are there?

Hi Gringle, go into the menu and hit the manage maps icon you will see an icon that now says "switch maps" hit that and all your maps will be listed. Viola!.

It won't auto switch you need to tap the screen and select Change Preferences/ Manage Maps/ Switch Map from the list of presented maps select the one you want to use, remember to switch it back to Europe mode before you take it out in this country - Mike
