While driving down the A1 yesterday i spotted someone to be what appeared to be swapping film canisters in a Gatso. As it wasn't in my database i attempted to report it using the map update. After typing the coordinates there is already a Gatso there but greyed out, The map won't allow me to reinstall the camera so i'm notyfying you. If i remember the roadworks near it are untill spring 2009 .
As its been a while since i travelled on the A1 south i dont know if this camera has ever been on the database but it looks active to me.
N 52.81722 W 0.62220 Gatso 50 mph _________________ Time for bed says Zebadee

if you click the camera icon on the map then it will display the id number below the map. use this to fill out the submission form to request it's reactivation

It's logged as GATSO:2497 so is very old...
Was originally a temporary camera for roadworks at 50MPH
Maybe they've re-installed a completely new one in the same place or very nearby. |

I can also confirm the camera is there. Gave me a bit of a fright Friday night!
It always has been there as long as I can remember. Although I only drive down the A1 now and then. You kind of subconsciously remember where they are. Must of only been removed recently. The camera's were bagged on that stretch of road not so long ago tho. |

Was driving North bound this morning on the A1 and another camera has been added about a mile or two down the road. 50 Gasto again. |
