TT1 Maps vs TT520

Hi guys

Hope this is okay to ask here. I have a TT1 v2 and I get the maps are out of date message. My mate has a TT520 (I think) and he said I can just copy the maps from his device onto mine.

Would this work?

The Maps are activated for only one Device.

It is possible to Transfer the Maps but then he would start having problems.

Finally, it's against the Terms of the EULA and won't be supported here.
