|
|
Hi there,
Can anyone offer me some advice as the best system out to use for multi drop deliveries. I’m talking 60-90 a day I need a system capable of storing up to 30 drops at a time and optimizing the route.
Cheers Daniel. |

You have two, perhaps three options. The Garmin 700 series absolutely optimizes your route, no issue on the number of stops you've noted, HP310 optimizes, but unclear how well. Mio is questionable. |

The latest Autoroute will also optimise. Then, you can use some POI converter to get the route onto your preferred device.

Does Autoroute actually OPTIMIZE the route or ORDER the route. |

In other words, is the unit automatically putting the stops in ORDER from closest to farthest, which some manufacturers incorrectly refer to as optimizing, or really/truly OPTIMIZING the route, trying different routing combinations to find the optimal travel time and order to navigate to each of the stops. Few devices really optimize the route, several order the route. |

Thanks Oldboy. That's a device I'm not familiar with. Any reviews about? |
