I don't think he's got our database - I was up there today and the 40mph cameras are TomTom's cameras on my GO720 #6. It's a long time since we removed them from our database, isn't it? Maybe even before the 720s came out?

He could subscribe to TomTom's database and get the same again, or maybe an update, or maybe not.

Or he could subscribe to ours and get accurate updates at least once, if not twice, a month.

Because it does make a difference which database you use.

As it's the TT database, then you can't delete them, you have to wait until TT decide to remove them from their database. Then the updated information can be 'correctly' shown on your Device.

Morning..... Wink

The others are spot on... there's no way of removing individual cameras from the TomTom- supplied database and as far as I can see, no way to even report one should be removed. It's a pretty poor system.

As Oldboy says, the way the one from this site works is much more flexible - removing cameras from the PGPSW database is easy to both do for yourself AND to report for the good of everyone else, but it's a different set of menu choices than when trying to deal with the TomTom-supplied one.

And the reason everyone seemed to jump on you, was because the team here are panicky about the database being pirated.
Just like the TomTom-supplied one, you need to pay to subscribe for updates and in PGPSW's case its peoples' mortgages at stake if you had been using it without a subscription.!

Might I suggest you should drive extra carefully if you continue using inadequate data, I think your original post has highlighted how the database you have is wrong, false alerts for cameras that simply aren't there is a minor annoyance. But no warning for a real live camera is dangerous, combine this with a distinct absence of mobile camera locations and you can see what I mean (not that you would ever use a speed camera database to speed) - Mike

We don't do Map Updates, that's TomToms game, but a Subscription for Members is £19 per year, which gives more than just cameras.
