I've been trying to decide what sat nav to get to replace my 720 that I return last year.
As it appears some of the problems with the 720 have been sorted, so when I saw 720's for £154 I had to get one from Comet, I've reserved online and I'm going down the shop to get
Just to think I paid £325 for my last one back in the summer.
Lets hope I get on better with this one. |

Nope.
They can now be had for £184 at other retailers.
So £154 with Discount Code at Comet would rule out refurbs.
Comet have always been one of the retailers on the current tracking list, with close to low price for this device. |

very tempting I have to admit since the 720 devices I've demoed (haven't checked TMC or bluetooth though) on the whole when working fine are very nice to use
but IQ routes and lane assist aren't to be sniffed at - especially the IQ routes if it turns out to be ok................then again, perhaps in the 30 devices they have gone towards fixing tmc and bluetooth????
154 is very tempting though when a garmin 760 is £217 which is the closest competitor I can think of that is worthy of serious attention at these price points (Mio and navigon expensive, Navman shoddy). |

Less than half the price they were when launched to market and complete with a map guarantee to ensure the latest maps are available when you purchase (up to 28 days from first use) this has to be a bargain, the new devices will have extra bells and whistles in the way of software but the x20 range is a decent bit of kit, at that price it has to be a steal - Mike |

What you need to work out is:
Will the £154 + the new IQ map be cheaper than a 730?
Also, how long will it take tomtom to offer the x30 features on the x20 range. _________________ Samsung Mega

Have been trying to decide between a TT720 & Nuvi760 for a few weeks now, but I think it has now been decided for me with this offer!
-Have reserved a TT720 to collect tomorrow, but will make sure I have a play around with a 760 & TT720 side by side in the shop first just to make sure I'm happy (will be my 1st sat nav). |

Cannot understand why Comet are selling the 720 for less than the XL1 Europe?
Is this on line price only or can you collect from the store? |

Yes you can reserve online to collect in store !!!
I bet if you took the print out into Dixon's or Curry's or PC world they may match the price |

John877 I have tried several times with the promotional code but each time is says that this code GPS15 'does not apply to this item' so am unsure how others have obtaine it from Comet at £154.
I have ensured that I submitted the code correctly as it states it is case sensative, so that cannot be the problem |

It does the same for me, in fact I cannot get the code to work on any navigation equipment so perhaps they have removed it for the time being, although if you check this screen capture it should be available for use until April 6th
