if i subscribe to this database, do i have to delete my existing 510 database or will the new ones overwrite? |

You can either disable the existing warnings or remove them, although you can also leave both sets on the device to see which one is best (I know the answer to that one, but its nice when others can make up their own mind by running a comparison) - is the device a TomTom or Garmin or something else? - Mike |

thanks - as you're a moderator can i ask you something unrelated to this - when i log on and go to the usergroup list, i choose the forum i want to look at but all i get is a message that says 'sorry this module is not active' i have to get into a forum by clicking on the 'we need you' logo on the left - what am i doing wrong!! |

Can you tell me what anti-virus and or firewall software you have installed (Norton, Zone Alarm etc)?

im using McAfee Anti virus, the firewall that is inbuilt into Windows XP, and the browser is Firefox |

just tried IE and still no luck!
i cant disable McAfee by the way, i have tried before when certain programmes for installation have asked for it to be disabled - i presume that because the company installed it they made it not possible to disable it even temporarily
that leaves the XP firewall?? |

IE also will not let me get into Internet Options - wondered if it was pop up windows needed enabling! |

it's a problem with the 'jump to' links on this page: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=groupcp
will have to see if mike b can take a look. the same jump to linksdont appear to work on any pages...
best to go to the forum index and find the forum you want that way!
