garmin nuvi 250w

Just bought one of these. Really pleased with it, but am at a loss as to the function of the 'screenshot'. Can anyone explain?

This part of the forum is for questions about the speed camera database. You'll get a better quality of answer in the Garmin Nuvi forum section

But at a guess... when you tap it, it takes a screenshot that is saved on the Nuvi and can be downloaded to the PC next time you connect up to it?

One use is so you can post a screen shot of a problem here or print of a reminder for yourself of settings or where a function is i suppose. Not really sure of any specific intended use but one day you'll find it useful.

i presume too that if you have specific problems it would allow you to send a screen shot as 'proof' to garmin if required?

You can take a screen shot of the About page and store / print it. Handy for proof of ownership etc
