Hi all
How can I download from this site or any other site, POI's for the 920T and how do I go about installing them?
Am I allowed to do this?
Is there a charge? I dont mind paying if there is.
Thanks
Forgot to say, I have POI Warner on a PDA with Tomtom 6, do you think I could use the files that I have downloaded from there, the Ov2 and bmp files I think, and load them on the maps in v7? _________________ IPAQ 3950 Tomtom 6 with Navman 3450 sleeve v6 USA & Canada & Western Europe maps, 2gb Sandisk sd card, POIWarner V2.0.

There is no charge for ordinary POIs, only our Safety Camera Data is subject to a subscription fee. Start by following the 200,000 FREE POIs link at the top of the page or click here.
Download the POI, extract the contents of the .zip file and copy to the map folder (the exact name depends on which map you have loaded). _________________ Darren Griffin

You can download lots of different POI files for free from This Page of the web site. To install to your device simply unzip the download and copy the files to the map folder (the Europe Map folder in this case not Guam or America)
Keep your first downloads small, just one or two categories, until you get the hang of it, and remember there is a limit of 300 Custom Categories on the device, each category can/ will contain thousands of individual locations often with phone numbers etc.
Any ov2 and bmp files you have will work once copied to the correct map folder - Mike

Thanks for the info, did try it, I can download it but it says the there are no files to extract, tried the link method and that did not work either.
Will try Firefox once I load it
UPDATE!
It works with Firefox and the files work on my 920T, thank you so much, I can now go to the States with updated POI's! _________________ IPAQ 3950 Tomtom 6 with Navman 3450 sleeve v6 USA & Canada & Western Europe maps, 2gb Sandisk sd card, POIWarner V2.0.
