720 Map Update

Hi all
I'm new to the TT720 (after updating from an old Navman). Installed TT Home, did a full back up as recommended elsewhere in this forum, then tried to do a Map update. It said there was a newer version available, which I duly downloaded and installed. All looked ok except when restarting the TT I only seemed to have the Canary Islands. The folders all looked ok via the PC - Western Europe etc. but I couldn't get the UK. Am I missing something simple ?

Try change preferences then manage maps then switch maps and then touch the Europe map.
It may be you have just got to switch maps to western Europe

The UK coverage is contained within the Western_Europe map, start the device and tap the sat strength meter followed by the version box, this will give you the full details of the current map - Mike

Thanks. been away so not had the change to have another look. Pretty sure I did try to 'switch maps' but there was nothing on offer other than the Canary Islands.
I'll try and have another go tonight.
