My 720T, less than two months old, does not get past the start up splash screen then switches itself off. When I switch it on a get a blue bar along the bottom of the screen that fills with yellow, and a picture of a disc drive. The splash screen starts dim, goes bright then at the point where my user name normally comes up and have to press continue it switches off. Any help please. |

You could try a 30 second press of the re-set button first. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

I have used my first windows backup and latest tomtom backup (last weeks). I have also tried a 30 second reset. Still keeps turning itself off.
I have also left the unit on charge over night. |

Thank you Andy c1. I tried again and went for it!
I deleted all the files on the tomtom then copied over my original files using windows explorer ( last time I just chose to over write files)
It works now. Thanks again. |
