Pocketgps File Offered Via TomTom HOME

Some of you may have already noticed a file called Pocketgps UK Sc being offered via HOME's new sharing feature.

This is a dummy file being shared by PocketGPSWorld directly to test security measures being put in place by TomTom and so there is no need to report it (but thanks to those eagle eyed readers who let us know). The file is empty and of no use to anyone (but if you do want to have a look, open the file in POIEdit or Notepad and read the message!).

We're working with TomTom to block any of our data being offered via HOME either intentionally or inadvertently but in the meantime this file (and only this file) can be ignored.

However if you do spot any other files that you suspect may be ours then we would like to hear about it! We'd rather a false alarm than to miss a genuine breach. You can send reports of suspicious files etc that you suspect are ours on HOME, eBay or anywhere else using our Piracy email address, piracy AT pocketgpsworld.com
