Text to speech- how to activate it?

This LG Sat Nav i bought last week came loaded with Destinator ND. I saw on the internet that this has a feature called Text To Speech, where it reads out the street name. I've read the instructions and gone through the menu on the device, but can't see how it activates. All i get at the moment is "turn right" or equivalent.

Sorry but you can't. The LG LN500 doesn't have text to speech. See LGs website here Click on "Specifications"

The LG website also says it can't show JPEG photos, but it does. Mine does anyway.

I did notice the review said
