|
|
First of all I started to get problems turning my TT on, it would get stuck on the TT start up screen, a reset would cure this until the next time, I followed the info in this thread: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=63599
but now have a problem turning the TT off, it gets stuck on the TT "Hands splash screen and then it goes to a blank screen but still illuminated, if someone could point me in the direction of some instructions on how to fix this I would be most apreciated.

Yes I did try that well more like 30 secs and have now just done a restore and at the moment it seems to be starting up and switching off ok, need to keep monitoring it to see if it is behaving now, thanks.

Seems my problem hasn't gone away, when I try and turn it off the screen stays blank and illuminated, all I can do is to keep resetting it to turn it off, if anyone has any idea's I would be most grateful to try them out, thanks. _________________ Garmin Montana 650

Re-install the software?
There have been two topics today with a walkthrough on how to either re-install from where Home originally downloaded it, or to re-download it from their servers
(But maybe wait a bit if you try #2 as I think some of their servers might be having problems again today). |

I just updated Tom Tom Home to 2.2.0.33, do you mean I should uninstall Home and download it again and do a fresh install? _________________ Garmin Montana 650

Now it seems when it is not in the Docking Cradle (which is connected to the computer) it will not start up, it gets stuck on the Start Up screen. _________________ Garmin Montana 650
