I've now read a number of other posts with similar problems to mine.

I can't get my iPaq to display any GPS data.

I've tried using the SIRF Bluetooth on Bluetooth Serial Port COM8 Sad

I've tried using NMEA 01832v2 Bluetooth on Bluetooth Serial Port COM8 Sad

All I ever get is GPS position unreliable Crying or Very sad

I know they're both talking to one another cos the little blue lights are wittering away like mad. They just don't appear to be talking the same language. I can't make it work on GPS.

If I change to Bluetooth Serial Port COM5, they stop talking immediately

Does anybody have any ideas what else I should try please.....

Here's hoping.

Try the plain standard COM8: at NMEA 38400. See if that helps.

Thank you.

It now works a treat.

I think the review on the BT Clip-on helped with the in-depth explanation how that little switch to alternate between ST and XT helped immensley. That was a puzzle of Indiana Jones proportions and would have had me scratching my head for weeks I think.

I've been out on a test run today and Wow! What a top tool.

Thanks again for your help.
