Can anyone help please? I live in Spain but am at present on a visit to the UK. I downloaded the speed camera database and installed it on my Garmin nuvi 350. My problem is that my lhd car's speedo is calibrated in kph and I would like the alerts to show in this format rather than mph.
I have tried, I think, every combination of kph and mph settings in POIloader and on my nuvi in order to achieve the result I want, but so far nothing has succeeded. Is there something I'm missing?
Perhaps it is not possible, although I believe I did manage to get the alerts in kph on a previous visit a couple of years ago. If not, I will have to settle for mph and do a mental conversion every time I approach a camera!

Does the Nuvi not display your speed all the time? When I went into Europe with my TomTom, I could see the speed on it in Km/H after changing the settings. I did not, of course, watch it all the time, but occasional glances were great to help my conversions. The Europe speed cameras were in Km/H too, so they matched my TomTom settings. _________________ Dennis

I've seen lots of posts from people complaining about getting warnings at e.g. 19 MPH for a 30 MPH camera. This has been due to mis-setting in POI Loader. But, I'm don't know enough about POI Loader to know if it is possible the deliberately cause the "problem" in the opposite direction.
One thing that does occur to me is that, if I remember correctly, POI Loader will cause the Garmin to give a warning at a given speed if the POI file name contains the number. If I'm correct, you'll be travelling at 48 KPH in a 30 MPH area? Can you rename the 30 MPH POI file to 48 and leave the rest of your settings as normal?
e.g. pocketgps_uk_gatso_30.csv=pocketgps_uk_gatso_48.csv
