|
|
I have tried to add a new POI Category in "Manage POI's" I have typed in the name and then pressed Done and it says that it has stored it but then when I want to add some POI's it isn't there, if I try and add the Category again it tells me that it already exists, any idea where I am going wrong?

How many ov2 files have you got stored in the map folder, if you have reached the limit (which is 100 for version 6,x software) you can experiance strange behaviour such as this.
Options are remove some of the POI files (if you have over 100) or upgrade the device to the latest software (which is free), this will increase the number of custom POI files you can use - Mike |

Is it not only the x20 models that increase their limit when you upgrade to the latest software Mike. I did'nt think the x10 did aswell but could you let me know if it does. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

It certainly lifts the limit above 100 but I am not too sure anyone ever worked out the actual limit when running the latest software - Mike |

Cheers Mike, I thought i was looking at nearly 300 POI's there but i think the limit for the x10 does'nt rise as much as the x20. Oh well then. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)
