Sadly the Speed camera database is not available in the correct format to work with your device, the PDA software can use the Database from here but not the Nokia version - Mike |

Hi h12ssy
...and welcome to the forums.
As a fallback, you can buy the R66 cam database for a trivial sum. Not as comprehensive as the PGPSW database, but better than none at all.
Get R66 running, then go to Options/Extras/Safety Cameras/Route 66 store, and follow the instructions. It's easy and painless.
There was a site which purported to provide instructions to convert ov2 files to those required by R66 on the 6110, but from the very moment I thought I'd give it a go, the site went down....
Nonethess I hope you enjoy the 6110 - it's a great piece of kit. Wonder if TT will ever provide a Symbian compatible version.... _________________ Garmin 2360LT

kai666:
AFAIK the Congestion Zone is not part of the R66 Speed Cams, but I don't drive into London so haven't explored any potential options. I suspect a good strategy is not to hold your breath on that one.
h12ssy:
From memory, this is how you do it:
Run R66
Go to Options/Settings/Extras/Alarm/Safety cameras
It might ask if you want to change alarm settings - say Yes.
You can choose to select all categories, or change one at a time. For ease (he lied - I'm just lazy) I just ticked All Categories, but you can assign individual distances and alarms to each category.
Having said Yes either to all categories or individual ones, the 6110 then goes off and does a brief search for sound files. You're then presented with a whole list of self-explanatory options, including but not limited to Select Warning Sound, Select Warning Distance, Warn Only When On Route etc.
Make your choices, then Save (LH green button).
And then Robert's your Dad's brother, as the vernacular has it. Warning sounds and distances are assigned.
Get back to me if you have any problems.
