Funny few months !

Started off on the 28th of Decemer last year when i bought the LG LN505 sat nav from Halfords at a steal for £119.99 (supposed sale price!) Came with european street level mapping and compared to the PDA was easy to use and came with a car power lead so no worries about lack of backlight.

Then I sold the XDA Pro on ebay for £112 even with the problems with it to recoup the costs.....

....then i used the LG and hated it, 3 dead ends, unable to upgrade the maps from either LG or Navteq so you were stuck with what it came with, it of a problem when most of where i live are new estates and it didn't know any of them !!
Managed to get Halfords to take it back eventually and sell me the Garmin Nuvi 250 so after reading reviews it looks an ok bit of kit !

Trying to take something back to Halfrauds - hard !

Only thing is, for the PC it doesn't come with any discs so where do I get or download the PC software ?

You can grab POILoader and use that to install third party POI files from the PC to the device, or do you want to do something else with it? - Mike

Buy a copy of MetroGuide Europe on eBay to give you v9 maps on the PC!
