my brother gave me a disc with files pocketgps_uk_gatso.bmp and pocketgps_uk_gatso.csv plus same for mobile, pmobile, redlight, specs, temp
I used poiloader to add these to my new nuvi 200, I added them onto a sd memory card, hoping to have more speed cameras then the sample set loaded.
the nuvi now shows all the new cameras in my area when I zoom in on map but there is no alert sound or speed limit shown when driving past any of these new additional cameras
could any help please |

Go to "Settings" - "Proximity Points" - "Alerts" and ensure that the Custom POI's setting is enabled. You may want to deselect the Garmin Speed cameras setting.
I am pointing you in the right direction for this without my 660 beside me and cannot find any info for the 200 series. Please adapt what I have suggested as appropriate - I think that you will find your way! |

out of curiosity was it a cd from maplin or a disc he bought from ebay (or similar)? if the latter then we'd be interested to know where he purchased it from...

I subscribed to GPS and downloaded the CSV speed camera database as speed zoned catagorie onto my NUVI 200, all the alerts work with allowed speed limit but not for red light cameras - I have turned off Garmin alerts and left POI alerts on - is there something else I can do to make the red light cameras alert ? |
