TomTom & Heated Windscreen

Looking at buying either a 520 or 720 TomTom.

This is my first Sat Nav, and i have a heated windscreen in my Escort....just wondered if this will affect things?

No it won't affect the reception, the Fords use a heating system that employs an array of elements in the glass, these type of screens are fine, it is the cars with Athermic coated glass that present some problems - Mike
