Should I be worried that it takes my version of TomTom Home (2.1) about 15 minutes to download "small" updates from TomTom and install them to my 920T? The performance seems terrible compared to something like my virus software that updates it's virus definitions in a matter of seconds...is this the same for everyone? |

i think thier having some sort of trouble with thier servers. it took me four attempts to download a map update from them, and thier website is shaky to say the least. maybe there are a lot of people trying to access it after having satnav for xmas |

I've been playing around and hence plugging into Home almost daily for the last week or so and I've found no performance issues.
I'm on a 20Mb cable link and normally find it is the sites that slow the downloads but TomTom seems fine to me. |

See other posts on this subject - TT's servers were apparently virtually paralyzed over some of Xmas (like many TT owners?) no doubt caught unawares by the, er, unexpected demand _________________ TT GO app on Android Phone
