hi i have a nuvi 250 and i find it slightly innacurate, when i approach a turning it tells me to turn just after the turning is there a way of clibrating the screen thanks |

I would suggest a "Master Reset" to cure the problem.
Press the top right corner of the screen whilst switching the Nuvi on.
Keep pressing until you get the reset option and press yes.
You'll have to reselect some of your options after, but well worth the effort. |

have tried to do master reset like you said holding top right corner but does not seem to do anything , i noticed there is a reset button on bottom of unit will that help . |

I've got a 310D and the master reset works with that, and I think yours is basically the same.
I suggest you try again, making sure you're pressing the top right corner of the screen as you switch the Nuvi on, and don't stop pressing until you get the reset options. You'll get all the loading screens first, but just keep pressing unti the reset appears. |

Different models use different corners for hard reset. If top right does not work try the other corners. You may even get into maintenance mode as on the 660. Keep pressing the corner until you get the appropriate message but don't try to push th escreen out of the back of the nuvi! |

tat will calibrate the touch screen though, the OP was meaning the map-lag!

250(w) uses bottom right, held down when powering on to do a "user" reset. Seems to work ok |
