When I download the Poi's I want from GPSWorld, the zip file cannot be opened on my laptop. I'm using TomTom Navigator 6 from a SD card on my Treo 700p. How do I get these installed. Any other tips for the Palm Os version would be appreciated. |

I would try and download again as the zip should open okay on your laptop if not corrupt. Sometimes a right click and save works best at the final stage.
Once downloaded okay the files in the zip just need to go in the map folder on the sd card.
Job done

Keep the number of POI Categories down to just one or two, and see if these will open on your PC, also next to the download button is a check box labeled "Show Link" select that before pressing download.
If you are using the subcats option keep the number of sub categories below 21 and again check the "show Link" box, see if the above lets you download any POI files that you can open, if it does build up the number of categories a few at a time - Mike |

Thanks guys. I checked the show link box and downloaded from there. I then put mt SD card in my PC and put the POI's in the correct folder and all is well. They did all show up as full categories though. Do I check seperate into sub-categories to install them into categories already existing? |

Yes I think so.
I have one for Maplin, McDonald's and B&Q's all in separate POI files.
Easy to check, in you zip file you should have two files for every category. One with the co-ordinates in and the other with the icon for the category.
