Does anybody have a 'fool proof' way of attaching these things correctly? I've ruined 2/3 and have now purchased an expensive one from Proporta but am not keen to attempt it again, without some advice...thanks.

I have used screen protectors on a number of devices and they've all been fine.

Currently on my TomTom, I have a DuraSec protector from Amazon (£4 for 5) but they have them for many devices there.

Firstly, give the screen a clean with a lint free cloth (eg glasses cleaner cloth) to remove any existing finger marks etc.

Check how much leeway you have before starting as you don't want to leave a big gap at the end or, worse, find you have too much with no screen to put it on.

To put the protector on, I found the best way was to take the backing off one of the thinner edges about an inch first and lay that in place gently in place. Then use a soft cloth over your finger to smooth out the bubbles. Keep this going along the whole length bit by bit. You may need to go back a lot to remove bubbles that appear.

The one thing you must NOT do is touch the adhesive side.
