New Zealand maps for Tomtom 720?

Hello all,

I have just bought a Tomtom 720 (Australian maps). I'm going to NZ soon - oddly, I can see that the 720 is sold in NZ, but the Tomtom website does not show any NZ maps available. Any idea if and how these can be bought?

Hi unfortunately the 720 is not available in NZ they only have the One XL and the One 3rd edition I had to get the XL but would have got the 720 if available you will have to keep checking TomTom site for NZ Maps they said they should be available in a couple of months.

Thanks. I thought I had seen sites claiming to sell NZ versions of the 720. Never mind - going in 2 weeks so probably not an option.

Just to bring this one up to date: Tomtom have now released a New Zealand map. Too late for me and in any case the price is extortionate. In the event it proved fairly cheap to rent one with the hire car. Britz rentals charged $NZ5 per day to a maximum of NZ$40 which I thought pretty reasonable.

Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
