Hi, I have just bought a tomtom go 920t. The problem that I am having with it is, I can load the ov2 speed camera files, they work without any problems. However when I try to get the spoken .ogg files to work I only seem to get a computer voice speaking the file name of the .ov2 file. can anybody please tell me where I am going wrong. (Both sets of files work on my tomtom go 700). |

This works on a 910 so might work on your 920.
When you go into Warn When Near and after the warning distance screen you have a choice of warning types.
Select Sound Effect and it should pick up on the OGG File.
Carry on through the Menus to the end.
You'll have to do this for all the cameras.
But only the once. _________________ Richard

Assuming the 920 is the same as the other units when configuring your warnings to use the ogg files select the POI then set the distance, on the next screen select Sound effect then answer yes when the device asks you if the sound is correct (even though you hear nothing) if you answer NO the device will crash!
Finish off the configuration and repeat the above for each POI Category instaled - Mike |

At least the advice was the same, I need a faster phone!!
Seriously though one other thought, what version of software is on the 920 tap the sat strength meter to find out - Mike |

Tap THAT box (ie the one where you read the software version). Takes you to a page with lots of info. |
