I have just purchased the Tom Tom One 3rd edition for use in Florida. I have downloaded a couple of POIs shown on here for America (the State parks etc) but I don't know how to add them to Tom Tom One. I would also like to find some other POIs from other providers to add if I can find out how to do this.

By the way Oldboy, this is the same lady round the corner from where you work. I still have the Tom Tom 720 at home by the way for which I bought the US maps. Would there have been any POIs associated with those maps, though I don't have that Tom Tom with me at the moment. If so could they be copied over. I think this Tom Tom One had 1 gb memory.

Any of the OV2 POIs will work with any TomTom Unit. The only limitation is that their locations have to be with the confines of the Map that they are being associated with. Otherwise they don't show up and can't be used.

If you only have a Map for a US Region, put the complete File in and it will use those that it can 'see'.

You can copy the same POI Files to any of your Units, putting the pairs in the Map Folder.

That's a four letter word now. I seem to do as much as ever. I just don't get paid for it. Smile

At least I can do it when I want, ..... within reason.

Edited to add .....

I would have a read, if you haven't already, THIS Thread on the 3rd Edition, and it's limitations with Manage POIs.
