Mapshare query across different OSs but same maps

I have a One V2 with 7.162 and 6.75 maps.
I also have a 500 with 6.60 and 6.75 maps but I want to keep the OS at 6.60.

If I update the maps on the One with mapshare then copy it across to the 500, will the 500 read the amended maps ok?

Please confirm the OS on the 500 as 660 is a map version number not software release - Mike

I don't think it will matter anyway.

Mapshare doesn't alter the map files themselves. It ADDS correction files.
I would assume it is the actual v7 software which knows how to interpret these corrections, so ANY v6 version won't know what to do with them.
