POI Sound Warnings

When the warning sounds have been configured, is it possible to backup a file with this information? It could then be copied over to a new unit later on and save a lot of hassel.

The file you want is MapSettings.cfg

Hopefully future software will be compatible. I believe there has been some problems when upgrading to V7.

Worth doing anyway 'porche'.

v7 software has a habit of "forgetting" all the warn when near settings, which is a real pain for the 25-odd camera categories especially if you have typed in voice warnings. It has done it to me about 7-8 times in 5 months

I now keep a spare copy of MapSettings on the USB memory stick on my keyring.

I've looked inside MapSettings.cfg with POIEdit and there is no information about the warnings. I've also tried to copy the file from one unit to another and the warnings were not configured.
