MapShare really efficient ?

I'm wondering how efficient can be a tool like Map share, where people can enter their own modifications, and share them with other people ...

What if they did mistakes, or even want to put garbage in what they share ?
Is the data verified by Tomtom ?

Can we really trust mapshare ?
